Notice is hereby given that a Presidential Nomination Primary election will be held in all the Election Precincts of Todd County on Tuesday the (3rd) Third day of March 2020 at which the polls will be open from the hours of Seven (7) o’clock AM (unless your municipality has published notice stating
otherwise) to the hour of Eight (8) o’clock PM for the purpose of nominating candidates for the following offices to wit:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENTS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners (the “Board”) of Todd County, Minnesota (the “County”), will hold a public hearing of the Board beginning at 9:15 a.m., on March 17, 2020, to be held at the County Courthouse, 221 1st Ave. South, Long Prairie, Minnesota, on the proposal that the County abate property taxes levied by the County on the property identified as tax parcel number: 36-0132800

The total amount
of the taxes proposed to be abated by the County on the property for up to a 5-year
period is estimated to be approximately $199,470.  The Board will consider the property tax
abatement in connection with financing the construction by D.W. Jones, Inc. of a
37-unit apartment building in the City of Long Prairie in the County, which
project is to be known as the 2nd Avenue Apartments, which will be 100%
market-rate and contain no income restricted units.

All interested persons may appear at the March
17, 2020, public hearing and present their views orally or in writing.

Post-Election Equipment Review

Todd County will be conducting the Post-Election Equipment Review on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.

Location:  Main Street Government Center – Election Room, 347 Central Ave, Long Prairie, MN.

This review is being held pursuant to MN Statute 206.89 and is welcome for the public to attend.

Todd County’s Canvassing Board has selected 2 precincts to review. (Eagle Valley Township and Leslie Township)  Votes for Federal Offices will be hand-counted and compared to the Summary Statement information gathered via the election equipment on Election Day to ensure that the equipment functioned within an acceptable margin of error.

2020 COUNTY FEE SCHEDULE PUBLIC HEARING

Notice to the Public: on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. in the Commissioners Boardroom, Todd County Historic Courthouse (215 1st Avenue South, Long Prairie, Minnesota), the Todd County Board of Commissioners will hold a County Fee Schedule Hearing to solicit public input in order to determine the 2020 County Fee Schedules for the County Departments including but not limited to: Administration, Attorney, Assessor, Auditor-Treasurer, Environmental Health, GIS/MIS, Health & Human Services, Planning & Zoning, Public Works, Recorder and Sheriff.
