Notice of Transportation Sales and Use Tax | Todd County, MN On September 9th, 2014 the Todd County Board of Commissioners approved, by County Board Resolution, the establishment of a Todd County Transportation Sales and Use Tax per Minnesota Statute 297A.993. This is a 1/2% sales tax that is solely dedicated for the construction and maintenance of Todd County highways and will become effective on January 1st, 2015. Residents and businesses in Todd County may owe a local use tax on purchases of goods and services made outside of Todd County. Taxpayers may get further information and forms necessary for calculating and paying the tax on the following Minnesota Department of Revenue Website:
