Planning and Zoning in Todd County, MN
It is the responsibility of the Todd County Planning & Zoning Office to ensure the development and maintenance of the Todd County land use ordinances related to zoning, septic systems, feedlots, subdivisions, shoreland, gravel pit/mining and floodplain management.
In addition, Planning and Zoning is also responsible for establishing an environmental educational and protection presence in the county, facilitate regulatory programs as adopted by the county, provide education and information to citizens on environmental issues, and accomplish protection of land, air and water for the health, safety and general welfare of Todd County.

Todd County SSTS Imminent Health Threat Abatement Grant
This grant is available to property owners in Todd County that have an open-end septic system or a non-compliant septic system. Preference for funding will be determined based on income status, condition of existing system, and proximity to priority surface waters. This grant will not be available to cover costs on septic system for new dwellings even if it is to replace an existing non-compliant system. Applicants must not have any existing violations on their property,excluding septic violations.
FY 2018 NRBG MPCA Low Income SSTS Upgrade
