County Issues Informal RFP for Fleet Maintenance

The Todd County Board of Commissioners have approved establishing a centralized motor pool for County Vehicles.  This administrative change in organization resulted in a nearly $70,000 ongoing savings for the County.  The County has issued an informal Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purposes of finding a service provider to maintain the vehicles.  Qualified service stations are encouraged to submit a response.   MN Statutes 471.345 Subd 5 allows for informal bidding procedures for contracts less than $25,000.  The expected value of the award resulting from this request is less than $25,000.
