Planning and Zoning

It is the responsibility of the Todd County Environment & Land Resource Management Office to ensure the development and maintenance of the Todd County zoning, individual septic treatment system, feedlot, subdivision, shoreland, gravel pit/mining and floodplain ordinances. In addition, this department is also responsible for establishing an environmental educational and protection presence in the county, facilitate regulatory programs as adopted by the county, provide education and information to citizens on environmental issues, and accomplish protection of land, air and water for the health, safety and general welfare of Todd County.
