Ditch/Ag Inspector


Provides administration and maintenance services for the 368.8 mile County Ditch System. Including Ditch maintenance, vegetation and brush control, tile repair, drainage surveys, conducting informational meetings and preparing ditch assessment recommendations. Enforcement of regulations pertaining to noxious weeds, herbicides, pesticides and seed inspection under the direction of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and in compliance with Minnesota Statutes. Assist townships and cities with noxious weed education and control.

Notice is hereby given this 10th day of May, 2012, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 18.83, Subdivision 1 (2009), that all persons in Todd County, Minnesota, shall control or eradicate all noxious weeds on land they occupy or are required to maintain (landowners must control noxious weeds on CRP lands.  Please call the FSA Office for control requirements).
Notice is given that the Final Public Hearing will be held on Monday April 9, 2012 at 7:15 pm.  It will be held during the regular City Council meeting at the Bertha Community Center located at 127 2nd Ave NW in the City of Bertha.
Notice is given that a Public Informational Meeting will be held on Monday February 27, 2012 at 7:30 pm.  It will be held in the Maple Room at the Northern Service Center located at 200 1st Street NE, Staples MN 56479.  This Informational Meeting is to discuss a Repair Petition that has been submitted to maintain portions of County Ditch 28 located in Villard Township.  All interested landowners are welcome and encouraged to attend this Informational Meeting.   County Commissioner Mark Blessing, County Ditch Inspector Nancy Uhl
