Ditch/Ag Inspector


Provides administration and maintenance services for the 368.8 mile County Ditch System. Including Ditch maintenance, vegetation and brush control, tile repair, drainage surveys, conducting informational meetings and preparing ditch assessment recommendations. Enforcement of regulations pertaining to noxious weeds, herbicides, pesticides and seed inspection under the direction of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and in compliance with Minnesota Statutes. Assist townships and cities with noxious weed education and control.

Legal Notice is hereby given that there will be Noxious Weed and Brush Spraying of County Road Right of Way.  The spraying will begin sometime after June 1, 2018.  Any questions regarding this matter should be directed to Todd County Ditch and Ag Inspector Nancy Uhlenkamp, located at Public Works, 44 Riverside Drive, Long Prairie, MN 56347, 320-533-4651, .
Notice is hereby given this 8th day of May, 2018, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 18.83, Subdivision 1 (2009), that all persons in Todd County, Minnesota, shall control or eradicate all noxious weeds on land they occupy or are required to maintain (Landowners are required to control noxious weeds on any land enrolled in CRP.  Special attention needs to be devoted to covers established with native grasses, forbs or pollinator seed mixtures.  Please call the FSA Office for control requirements).
