Todd-Wadena Community Corrections operates under a Joint Powers Agreement between Todd and Wadena Counties. Our mission statement is, “to promote public safety, everyday, through evidence-based-practices.” Our agency provides supervision of adult and juvenile probationers and supervised releasees as well as investigative report writing for the Courts and Department of Corrections. We also provide programming in the areas of juvenile diversion, Sentencing to Service, Sex Offender Treatment, Domestic Abuse Education, Female Offenders, and a variety of other programming aimed at reducing recidivism. Todd-Wadena Community Corrections maintains offices in Long Prairie, Staples, and Wadena.

July 17 – 23 is Probation, Parole, and Community Supervision Week.  Todd-Wadena Community Corrections currently supervises 663 people on probation or supervised release and 82 youth on juvenil
