Notice is hereby given that a General Election will be held in Todd County on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices listed below. The filing period for these offices begins at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014, and ends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2014.Note: Filing offices will be closed May 26, 2014, in observance of Memorial Day.
Absentee Voting Is Now Available for the Todd County Special General Election to be held on May 19th, 2014.Voting is now available for persons in County Commissioner District #1 which includes the precincts of Bartlett Township, Fawn Lake Township, Moran Township, Staples City, Staples Township, & Villard Township.Please take note that absentee voting is available at the Todd County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office located at 215 – 1st Avenue S (Historic Courthouse Building) in Long Prairie.
