The County Auditor-Treasurer's Department is a combined office that performs the following Services:

  • Tax calculations
  • Property tax transactions
  • Special assessments
  • Tax collections
  • Tax settlements
  • Forfeiture of lands
  • Budgets
  • Financial records
  • Elections
  • Voter registration
  • Issuance of liquor & auctioneer & fireworks licenses
  • Board meeting minutes and records
Persons will be available to assist taxpayers in filing their Property Tax Refund (M1PR) forms during tax season.Dates:      May 14th & 15th, 2015Time:       10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.Location:  Historic Courthouse (top floor) in Long Prairie Taxpayers may call 651-296-4444 to request a booklet be sent directly to their home.

Absentee voting is available beginning September 19th, 2014 at the Todd County Auditor-Treasurer's Office for the upcoming General Election on November 4, 2014.The Auditor-Treasurer's Office is located at 215 1st Avenue S (Historic Courthouse Building) in Long Prairie, MN.Regular office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.There will be additional hours available on:Saturday, November 1st, 2014      10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
