Kinship of Todd-Wadena Counties
Kinship is a non-profit volunteer mentor program that matches adults with children, ages 5 to 17, who need a friend. The goal is to befriend a child that, for a variety of reasons, needs a special relationship with a caring adult. Volunteers may mentor one-to-one, as a couple or as a family. They typically meet two to four hours per month.

Kinship also offers free fun activities each month for everyone in the program. It is a rewarding and learning experience for both kids and adults. Come, join the fun and make a difference.

If you want to learn more about Kinship or have an interest in being a volunteer mentor, or referring a child, contact the director, Stacy Marxer, at (218) 894-2799 or toll free 1-877-631-1788.

Kinship of Todd-Wadena Counties is located at 425 4th Street NE, P. O. Box 281, Staples, MN 56479.

Kinship of Morrison County is located at 107 2nd Street SE, Little Falls, MN 56345. Telephone (320) 632-8806.

Meals on Wheels
Needed: Meals on wheels delivery volunteers for the Long Prairie community. We are looking for volunteers who may be able to assist once a week or even once a month. A delivery route typically takes less than one hour, so it would be a great activity to do on your noon hour! The meals are distributed from the Prairie View 400 apartments. If you are interested in hearing more about this wonderful way to help out our community, please contact the local dining managers, Donna or Danette, mornings, at 732-6940 or
e-mail back to me. elarson@lssmn.org
