The first sets of maps, hand drawn at the turn of the century, illustrate the original ditch design.
For many of the ditch systems there are other maps displaying the benefitted tracts as described in documents recorded and stored at the Todd County Court House. These maps indicate which tracts of land were billed for the initial ditch construction.
