Volunteer and Seasonal Units The Todd County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the lakes and waterways of the County which is the responsibility of the Boat and Water Division. Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office has the Todd County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Posse which is a very organized volunteer organization that assists in crowd control at large gatherings, missing person searches, article searches, securing major crime scenes, and any other duty(s) that may arise because of an incident. The Sheriff’s Office also employs a Chaplain who can offer assistance to Sheriff’s Office Personnel who are involved in traumatic incidents and to serious crime victims and their families. |
| Chaplain Info: Chaplain Dave Greaver Dave graduated from Crown College, St.Bonifacius, Minnesota and has ministered as a pastor, counselor and chaplain since 1983. He has served the Brainerd Lakes area as a pastor, chaplain and mental health counselor since 1995. Dave is trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing/Management and is a member of the Central Minnesota Crisis Response Team. Dave and his wife, Pearl, have five children and eleven grandchildren. The Greavers like to focus free time traveling to visit family, along with fishing, gardening and reading. Dave also speaks at area churches civic organizations, businesses and other community events when requested. Presently Dave and Pearl reside in Baxter and are planning to reside in Todd County. |
