Volunteer and Seasonal Units

 The Todd County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the lakes and waterways of the County which is the responsibility of the Boat and Water Division.  Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office has the Todd County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Posse which is a very organized volunteer organization that assists in crowd control at large gatherings, missing person searches, article searches, securing major crime scenes, and any other duty(s) that may arise because of an incident.   

The Sheriff’s Office also employs a Chaplain who can offer assistance to Sheriff’s Office Personnel who are involved in traumatic incidents and to serious crime victims and their families.
