Extension - Horticulture
The Master Gardener Program is an educational program composed of volunteers who help people in their communities with horticulture. The program was created in 1977 and is directed by the University of Minnesota, Extension. The volunteers have received training in home horticulture by University specialists in exchange for their volunteer time. Working with the University of Minnesota Extension-Todd County, Master Gardeners benefit schools, community education programs, garden centers, farmer's markets, garden clubs and many other programs. To learn more about the program or to become a Master Gardener contact the University of Minnesota Extension, Todd County, at mnext-todd@umn.edu or the University of Minnesota Master Gardener web site at http://www.mg.umn.edu/
